For those of you that enjoy a beer while watching some form of sport; whether it be football, rugby, formula one, cricket or darts, you’ll be able to find it at one of the many sports bars in London. The excitement of a 90th-minute goal or 180 points on the last leg of a darts match is well worth being around one of these thrilling establishments. Below are my top 3 sports bars (in no specific order) throughout London based on the vibes and atmosphere, practicality and price.

Bar kick (Shoreditch)

Every time I go here I have an awesome time! I cannot remember the number of people I have met through this bar. The staff are easy going making it a relaxed yet fun place to have a beer and catch up after the long week we know all to much about. Cheap!! Happy hour between 4pm and 7pm every day provide some of the cheapest beers around the area. All in all, I would recommend this bar to any sports fans out there!

Greenwood (Victoria)

Awesome place to have some dinner and watch a match of your choice. Being such a short walk from Victoria station, it’s easy to fill up on one of their delicious pizzas and be home in no time (my favourite is the chilly meatballs and mozzarella haha). Its vintage interior makes it unique through London and I enjoy the chilled vibes that I believe are a result of the “old school style”. Get down there when you’re free and check it out!

Bad sports- Bethnal Green

A bit of a twist on your regular sports bar, a projector at one end of the bar with your match while the projector at the other end of the bar plays host to highlight reels of cheap shots, sport fails and, as the name suggests, bad sports! It’s great for a laugh and projects a sense of unity throughout the bar.

I’m the typical guy who loves watching sport no matter what it is so I love the broad range of sports bars throughout London, which bar is your favourite?
