Hot Chip NYE House Party

What better way to celebrate New Year’s Eve in London than with a well-loved English band? Not only are these guys proudly British, but they also know how to get a party started with their catchy lyrics and electro-pop beats. The Psychedelic Funhouse– New Years Eve

Fancy something a little different? The Psychedelic Funhouse is in town for one night only and is set to be a rave like no other. Experience the new decade in a different dimension with UV lights, glow in the dark body paint and confetti madness with interactive performers and DJs playing a fusion of drum and bass, psy and jungle. If you’re up for a party in a neon wonderland, tickets start from £35.25.

NYE Night Market Party: Back to the 90’s

The first event on our list is perfect for anyone staying at Astor Victoria on NYE. Practically on our doorstep (10 minutes walk away), Market Hall Victoria is a local food hall known for it’s delicious and diverse eats. If you’re in denial about entering the 2020’s, why not party like it’s 1999 instead? There will be 90’s themed DJ sets and a live band covering 90’s classics (and also taking requests!) along with tasty street food and a rooftop bar to watch the fireworks from. Tickets are £27 and include a glass of prosecco on arrival. Wowee!

Push The Button: New Years Eve 2019

It doesn’t really feel like New Year’s Eve unless there are some chart toppers to sing along to and PopWorld has definitely got you covered in that department. There will be tunes from all your favourite pop artists from the last three decades including Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, Little Mix, Lizzo and Ariana Grande, just to name a few. There will be a light up the dancefloor, two bars and enough pop music to make your heart explode. What are you waiting for? Pop to it. Winter Wonderland

If you’re after something more chilled out (and free), Winter Wonderland may be the place for you! It’s open from late November through to the first week of January and offers a range of activities including an ice skating rink and festival rides. You can grab a bite to eat in the German-themed food hall, enjoy a glass or two of mulled wine and be in bed by the time the festival gates close at 10 pm. Or alternatively, wander along the river and find a spot to watch the fireworks.
