Keeping you safe and sound during COVID-19

We’ve taken a bunch of precautions, but have a read below to see what you can do to help out and other relevant info for the stay!

Some of our facilities have some restrictions so have a read below to see what’s relevant to you!

 

General

From the 17th of May to 21st of June 2021 (for June 21st onwards scroll down)

 

  • Reception – Reception will be open from 7am to 10pm to hook you up with whatever you need. If you need us for an emergency out of this time, we’ll give you a number when you check-in so you can give us a buzz.
  • Check-out is between 8am and 10am (drop-off box is available for earlier check-outs).
  • Check-in is available between 2pm and 10pm (If you are arriving outside of these hours let us know and we’ll be there for you!)
  • Charity Breakfast is on pause until it is fully safe to do so, but we will have a “top places for breakfast board” so you can start your day with a delicious feast from a spot nearby!

Common Areas – Kitchen and common areas are closed due to Covid-19 safety measures until the 21st of June 2021. Access to these facilities will only be available for long-term guests (28 days and over bookings). These facilities will only be available to use after ten days staying at the hostel; this is a safety precaution for you, other long-term guests, and staff. There will be a maximum number of people allowed to use each space at any one time to ensure social distancing.

  • Sanitizer in all common areas for you to disinfect your hands when entering and exiting the hostel, and whenever you feel like a little blitz on your hands.
  • WHO certified cleaning products to disinfect all areas, rooms, and bathrooms and leaving them super clean and virus free. (As well as additional cleaning hours to give it an extra deep kill).
  • 50% bed reduction to give you more space in the rooms, ‘One Up >< one Down’ on bunks to give optimum social distancing!
  • Our team will be wearing masks while working and encourage our guests to do so when in close proximity to others
  • Our staff is fully trained and equipped on how to spot, deal, and help prevent a Covid19 case.

From the 21st of June (providing the government targets are met)

 

  • Reception – Reception will be staffed from 7am to 10pm for anything you need, if you need us outside of these just press the buzzer and we’ll come running.
  • Check-out is between 7am and 10am (drop-off box is available for earlier check-outs).
  • Check-in is available between 2pm and 4am (If you are getting here after 10pm let us know in advance what time so we are ready for you!)
  • Charity Breakfast is on pause until it is fully safe to do so, but we will have a “top places for breakfast board” so you can start your day with a delicious feast from a spot nearby!
  • Common Areas – Kitchen and common areas will be open from 8am to 11pm for you to meet some new peeps!
  • Sanitizer in all common areas for you to disinfect your hands when entering and exiting the hostel and whenever you feel like a little top up.
  • Eco cleaning products to disinfect all areas, rooms, and bathrooms and leaving them super clean and virus free.
  • Our team will be wearing masks while working and encourage our guests to do so when in close proximity to others.
  • Our staff is fully trained and equipped on how to spot, deal, and help prevent a Covid19 case.

How you can help ♥️

PLEASE DO 👍🏽

  • Sanitize your hands every time you enter the hostel
  • Wash your hands at regular intervals and after every visit to the toilet, sneezing, or coughing
  • When sneezing or coughing please do so into a tissue or toilet paper and dispose of appropriately
  • Be super social! But give yourselves a nice space in-between each other.
  • Wear a face mask as much as possible particularly when in close contact with other people.
  • Obey Rules posted around the hostel to protect yourself and others from COVID19

PLEASE DON’T  👎🏽

  • Block corridors or entryways that prevent people from social distancing
  • Smoke in front of the hostel.Do not block the entrance to the hostel, it must always be kept clear. If you fancy a ciggie please go for a walk around the block and throw the butt in the cig bin.
  • Hide any symptoms! If you feel illin any way, let us know and we will ensure to protect you and others with our pre-planned procedures. We have free Covid test available for you to test yourself!
