London is inundated with spooky tours, activities and parties that will quench your thirst for the perfectly terrifying day. Here is some of our picks for the best ways to spend Halloween in London.

Halloween film nights at the Natural History Museum

Have you ever watched a scary movie underneath the famous ‘Hope’ the whale skeleton? Us neither! Over the weekend of the 28th & 29th of October, The Luna Cinema and the Natural History Museum are pairing up to show 4 classic Halloween themed films: Ghostbusters, The Blair Witch Project, Silence of the Lambs, and The Shining. Every ticket gets you complimentary popcorn, and the best part? It’s only a 5 minute walk from Astor Hyde Park! Tickets are £26.50

Screamfest at The London Dungeon

Arguably the scariest place in London, The London Dungeon is a classic Halloween destination. Come face to face with Jack the Ripper, Sweeney Todd and the Torturer. There is an underground water ride, a vertical free fall drop ride, and even a Ouija Board to sit around if you dare… Book in advance as this is extremely popular!

Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber walking tour

This is a spine-chilling walking tour by an expert on Sweeney Todd, the infamous London Barber. You’ll walk off Fleet Street, and see where Sweeney Todd had his barbers shop and Ms Lovett had her pie shop, where she would help him dispose of people he had murdered! This is a surefire way to get your heart racing this Halloween. The tour is only one mile away from Astor Museum!

Twisted Circus Halloween Festival

For only £10, we highly implore you get out to Kentish Town on Friday October 26th for the Twisted Circus Halloween Festival. Here you will find London’s biggest halloween festival, with over 30,000 people attending each year, this is a party like no other. Expect live circus acts, world class DJ’s, theatrical surprises and unadulterated partying, and remember, DRESSING UP IS ESSENTIAL.

Spirits of Alcotraz

This is a special Halloween event on Brick Lane – Shoreditch that put visitors in the middle of a frightening turn of events where they must choose alliances to either the Warden in danger or to deceased inmates. Basically a thrilling way to drink criminally delicious cocktails in London’s only Prison Cocktail Bar.

Lost in Paradise Party at Tropicana Beach Club

Just a ten minute walk from Astor Museum, dress up in undead-themed attire and get ready to Dance. On Saturday October 27 you can party lat into the twilight hours with RnB, Hip Hop and House. Entry is free before 8pm, and £15 after that!

Day of the Dead, 93 Feet East

In Shoreditch, this club with 4 rooms and a creepy courtyard will be pumping on Saturday night. Expect face painters, dancers, costumes, confetti and more!
