Sunbathing in London: the Camden Beach
Before starting this post I’ve checked the weather forecast and it seems that it shouldn’t rain during the upcoming weekend, but this is one thing that you can never really say for sure in London. But in case we have some more amazingly sunny days like the past ones, there is one thing that needs to be done: let’s go to the be-each!
You might think that you don’t really feel like getting the train to Brighton to get a sunbath and here comes the help of Astor Hostels: what if we told you that you can go to the beach just taking the Northern Line to Camden Town?
Oh yes babies, tonnes and tonnes of sand have been dumped in the Roundhouse and and the Camden Beach is ready to host your lovely bodies to let them be kissed by the sun. This little slice of paradise attracted over 40,000 visitors last year and this year it is set to be even bigger and better. There are plenty of activities to keep you entertained: pop-up fish restaurant, beach huts, rooftop garden, ping pong, live music, tasty food, ice-cold drinks and loads and loads of hot boys and girls who just want to have some fun! This is perfect also if you’re backpacking in London and want to get to meet new people: everyone makes friends on the beach!
The opening times are: Mondays 5pm – 11pm, Tuesday – Sunday 12pm – 11pm and the entry is FREE! The Beach will be open until August 23rd. For more info check out their website here.
So if you can’t go to the beach, don’t freak out: they’re bringing the beach to you!
